Der Yukgeori-Markt in Cheongju ist ein bekannter traditioneller Markt, wo regional angebaute und geerntete Agrarprodukte sowie verschiedene Industrieprodukte verkauft werden. Frühmorgens eröffnet hier der sogenannte Dokkaebi-Markt, auf dem Bauern ihre landwirtschaftlichen Erzeugnisse anbieten. Der Markt begann während der Joseon-Zeit als Cheongju-Markt am Ufer des Flusses Musimcheon und wird seit dem Jahre 1973 Yukgeori-Markt genannt. Es gibt auch einen 5-Tage-Markt an allen Tagen, die mit 2 und 7 enden.
