💡 Überblick

Deungjan (등잔, koreanische
Öllampen), die einst die Nächte Koreas erhellten, sind nun fast gänzlich
aus dem koreanischen Leben verschwunden.
Eine Kollektion kann jedoch im Koreanischen Öllampen-Museum (한국등잔박물관)
bewundert werden, die im September
1997 als Themenmuseum in der Stadt Yongin gegründet wurde.
Ein großer Teil der Sammlung wurde von Dr. Kim Dong-hwi beigesteuert, der über
40 Jahre lang Material dazu sammelte.
Das Gebäude
des Museums orientiert sich an den Festungsmauern von Hwaseong in Suwon. Im
ersten und zweiten
Stock des Gebäudes, welches über ein Untergeschoss und drei Obergeschosse
verfügt, befinden sich die Ausstellungsräume. Im Untergeschoss finden
Seminare und eine Reihe von Aufführungen statt. Außerdem gibt es
einen Austellungsraum im Freien, der ca. 2.644 m² misst und verschiedene
Steinformationen, Baumarten und einen Teich umfasst.

          Uijeongbu Arts Center ist eine kulturelle Einrichtung mit einem Theater, einer
          Kleinbühne, einem internationalen Konferenzsaal und einer Ausstellungshalle.
          Das Theater hat eine Bühne, auf der 300 Schauspieler Platz haben, und kann
          ein Publikum von 1.057 Personen fassen. Die Bühne ist multifunktional,
          dreidimensional beweglich und verfügt über Beleuchtungs- und
          Soundtechnik nach dem neuesten Stand, was sie für alle Arten von Aufführungen
          geeignet macht, ob Orchestermusik, Theater, Tanz, Opern oder Musicals. Trotz
          ihrer geringeren Größe kann die Kleinbühne bei Beleuchtung und
          Sound mit dem Theater mithalten, hier können Theaterstücke, Kammermusik,
          Rezitationen, Konzerte und experimentelle Darbietungen aufgeführt werden.
          Die Ausstellungshalle besteht aus einer großen, runden Halle und zwei
          Ausstellungsräumen. Sie kann jede Ausstellung beherbergen, ungeachtet
          der Größe und der Art: Für Gemälde, Kalligraphien, Skulpturen,
          Gewerbekunst und Fotografien bietet sie die nötigen Voraussetzungen. In
          dem internationalen Konferenzsaal können verschiedene Symposien, Workshops
          und akademische Seminare abgehalten werden. Sie verfügt über 109 Plätze
          für Teilnehmer, 68 Publikumssitze, Ausstattung zum Simultandolmetschen
          in bis zu fünf Sprachen und einen Audio-Video-Kontrollraum.
